Though much uncertainty has come into the market, there is certainly room for optimism. Squarespace just announced 120 new roles in engineering and product in Dublin over the next couple of years, and Workato is similarly ramping up with around 50 openings across sales, marketing, and engineering. Bluecrux is hiring another 50 roles in tech and process solutions by the end of 2025. And if you’re into semiconductors, Intel Ireland in Leixlip continues to be a major employer—nearly 5,000 workers strong(Though uncertainly prevails). Over in life sciences, big names like Regeneron in Limerick are recruiting maintenance technicians and biotech specialists. And in pharmaceuticals, look out for Viattris, BMS, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, and Eli Lilly—they’re all reportedly hiring across Ireland. The travel and hospitality sectors are also stepping up: Ryanair is adding more cabin crew, engineers, and support staff in regional airports. Aer Lingus is recruiting cabin crew, and the fast-food giant Wendy’s is finally entering Ireland with plans for 10 new outlets and around 300 jobs.
